How EU261 works

Fixed compensation for qualifying disruptions generally falls into €250, €400 and €600 distance-based categories. Airlines may have a defence for extraordinary circumstances. Separately, care, reimbursement or rerouting rights may apply. Each journey needs an individual assessment.
